“When the Power Comes Back On” wins Lennon Award,

After “When the Power Comes Back On” won Grand Prize in folk in session 1 of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the song went head to head against the session 2 winner in an online voting contest. O’Sullivan’s fans really showed up and “Power” took the prize. This win moved the song to the final stage, during which industry professionals listened to the Lennon award winners in each of 12 categories to choose Song of the Year.
